Democracy Forum Mission Statement

Democracy Forum is intended to provide infrastructure for direct voting to all people who wish to have it. Democracy Forum will do this free of charge and void of advertising. Democracy Forum is intended to work within existing infrastructures of government to provide voters a direct voice in their governments actions.


How It Works

Overview

Democracy Forum is intended to provide tools to expand the process of democracy. Users of a forum have the capacity to vote on any given issue with assurance of accuracy, as well as discuss and research issues with other users.

Who can vote?

If you have a representative utilizing democracy forum, you can vote! To contact your local representative, go to the home area, navigate to the forum you want, and click "Request Invitation". You can also go to the forum info page for that forum and email the administrator for that forum

Who Monitors the site?

Democracy Forum is currently administrated by Jeff Horn, but will be soon moving to the leadership of a board.

By filling out this form and submiting it you are argeeing to our terms of service. At DemocracyForum.org the user always comes first, but to protect the integrity of each users vote and personal information, we do have a few requirements.

By submiting this form you are agreeing that all information in this form is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Name changes and other issues can be fixed. However, users found to be using fraudulent names and identifications may be sanctioned for intentionally corrupting the democratic process. Sanctions may include (temporary or permanent)exclusion from petitioning, commenting, voting, and new forum creation.

Democracy Forum will always do its very best to protect your personal information, and will NEVER intentionally expose any information you do not intentionally expose on the site. Please be aware that some forums are viewable by the larger public. If you want to remain anonomous in your voting and comments you may. However, individual forum administrators will ask you for some form of identification. Your interaction with various forum administrators is at your discretion. DemocracyForum.org does provide the ability for users to rate administrators.

DemocracyForum.org will NEVER advertise on this site. This would be a fundamental corruption of the democratic dialogue.

Hacking of this site will be regarded as willingly corrupting the free and equal democratic process. Users found to be doing this may be subject to the review of their peers for sanctioning. Sanctioning may include (temporary or permanent)exclusion from petitioning, commenting, voting, and new forum creation on the site.

Threatening or harrassing language will not be tolerated on the site. Users found making these type of comments may be subject to the loss of commenting privelages (temporary or permanent), as determined by a group of randomly seleced peers.

You, the user, are the reason for this sites existence. We will do everything in our power to make this site what you the user want it to be. Please work with us to improve the process.

While Democracy Forum will always provide voting service free of charge or any advertisements, providing the service is not free. We greatly appreciate any donations to the Democracy Forum Party. Donations are limited to users, and to $1,000.00 per user per year. Donations are accepted at the donate link on the login page.
